SPLIT BAMBOO TABLETOPS
• Use placemats or trivets under hot items and coasters under beverages to prevent marks and stains.
• Wipe up spills as soon as possible with a damp cloth; finish with a dry cloth.
• Use a mild soap and warm water to fully clean the surface area; avoid the use of harsh chemicals or abrasive
cleaning materials.
• Use a fine dust brush or cloth to remove dust particles at least once a week to prevent scratches.
• Apply a polish cream every month or two to maintain the quality of the wood.
• Avoid placing sharp objects on the tabletop. Do not place heavy objects directly on the surface—a protective
layer of felt material at the base is highly recommended.
• As the bamboo ages, ridges may appear, as well as fine and light-colored open grain. This is a natural reaction to
environmental changes and can be touched up by gently sanding the area with fine grit sandpaper and applying
polish cream.
WEATHERED CONCRETE TABLETOPS
• Clean up spills as soon as possible.
• Use coasters, placemats or trivets to help prevent marks or stains.
• Do not cut directly on concrete top to avoid damaging the sealer.
• Always use a cutting board when preparing food.
• Avoid placing hot items directly on the concrete top. Concrete is heat resistant, but excessive heat can damage or
discolor the sealer.
• Avoid abrasive soaps or cleansers. A mild soap and warm water is recommended for daily cleaning.
• When a heavier cleaning is needed, use a cleaner that is PH neutral. Avoid products containing bleach or ammonia.
• Apply a high-quality furniture wax every 2 to 3 months to the surface of the concrete top.
MARBLE TABLETOPS
• Marble tabletop is porous and can easily be stained, scratched or chipped. By its nature, grey marble is more porous
than white marble, and more susceptible to staining.
• Protect from acidic substances like wine, coffee, fruit juice and tomato sauce. Always blot spills immediately and rinse
with a clean, damp cloth.
• Do not place hot items directly on the tabletop.
• Do not use chemical cleansers, dusting sprays, abrasive cleaners or furniture polish.
• To prevent ring marks, place coasters or trivets under glasses and dishes; use mats or runners beneath hard objects that
might scratch the surface.
• Dust frequently with a clean, soft cloth. Wash periodically with a cloth dampened with warm water, and if necessary, a
small amount of mild dishwashing liquid. Use a second damp cloth to remove the soap.
• For white marble, the use of a resealer, such as Stone Care International's Granite & Stone Sealer, is recommended.
Apply once a year or as needed.
WAXED TABLETOPS
• Use coasters, placemats or trivets to help prevent marks or stains. Avoid mineral oil, as its usage could discolor
the wood.
• Do not place hot items directly on the tabletop.
• Wipe the table clean with a soft, dry cloth after each use.
• Wax can be reapplied, as normal use wears away the waxed finish. Use a high-quality furniture wax. Please note that
slight variations in color and an incomplete seal may occur with any sealant; test on an inconspicuous area first.
GLASS TABLETOPS
• Do not place hot items directly on the tabletop.
• Clean tabletop with glass cleaner.
