Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing
General Application and Program Information
Applying to the nursing program is a process and requires an applicant is admitted 4-6
months prior to the cohort start date. This is necessary for students to complete
mandatory orientations and compliance modules before beginning nursing classes.
Students are not able to choose their start date and must meet the requirements to be
considered for the nursing program. Once accepted, based upon coursework completed, a
student is offered a seat in the first available cohort. The nursing program is currently
seating students for spring 2025 and summer 2025.
Applicants will receive an initial email in 21-30 business days following receipt of their
application packet. Completed applications will be presented to the admissions panel for
consideration; notifications are made by the panel in 6-8 weeks. During high volume
periods and the academic calendar schedule, delays in notifications may be necessary.
Applications requiring additional information remain open for six months from receipt of
the application. If the documentation is not received during that period, the applicant will
need to reapply. Notifications are made to the email address provided on the application.
Applications are processed in the order received. Review of an application will be delayed
if information is missing from the file.
