Free Passes to Zoo
The Columbus Zoo and the Columbus Metropolitan Library have
established a wonderful partnership that allows for free admission to
the zoo. The Zoo Culture Pass is available now at participating libraries that
allows library cardholders to “check out” Zoo admission tickets for free. See
below for further information:
1. What is the Culture Pass Program?
The Culture Pass is a program developed by the Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) that allows library
cardholders free admission to cultural institutions throughout Central Ohio.
2. What does the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Culture Pass provide?
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium (CZA) Culture Pass admits up to 6 adults and/or children into the
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium; the CZA Culture Pass is valid for two days (if the pass is checked out on a
Friday, it is eligible that Friday and Saturday). The pass does not include parking. The CZA Culture Pass
is available year-round.
3. Who is eligible?
All Columbus Metropolitan Library card holders are eligible.
4. Where is the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Culture Pass available?
Currently, the CZA Culture Pass is available at 14 library locations – Main Library, Barnett, Driving
Park, Franklinton, Hilltop, Karl Road, Linden, Marion-Franklin, Martin Luther King, Northern
Lights, Northside, Parsons, Shepard and Whitehall branches.
5. How can someone obtain a Culture Pass?
The CZA Culture Pass can be checked out by cardholders at one of the participating libraries. The CZA
Culture Pass can not be reserved online like traditional items. However, customers can check their
availability at https://www.columbuslibrary.org/ by typing “Culture Pass” into the search bar.
