OMSI Parking FAQ
OMSI has a new parking system - Parking Kitty - that is designed to create a more
enjoyable visit for our guests and members. Already in wide use throughout the Portland
region, the Parking Kitty mobile app eliminates the need to pay for parking or register
your parking space at the museum front desk, translating into a more streamlined OMSI
entrance experience.
How much does parking cost at OMSI?
Parking is $5 (+ fees) for 2 hours or $8 (+ fees) for all day. “All day”parking is valid
from 5:00am to 11:00pm
Guests choosing 2 hours may subsequently extend their parking to All day
for an additional $3 via the Parking Kitty app. Guests who utilize the payment
kiosks adjacent to our parking lots (coming in August) or pay at the OMSI
front desk will not have this option.
For guests arriving after 5:00pm, parking at OMSI will cost $2 (+ fees). Evening
parking hours are 5pm to 11pm. OMSI does not allow overnight parking.

What if I don’t have a smartphone or prefer to not utilize the Parking Kitty app? Parking
payment kiosks will soon be available adjacent to our two main parking lots.Guests will
also have the option to pay for parking at the OMSI front desk. Both of these options
require guests to provide their vehicle license plate number.

from 5:00pm - 11:00pm -- will apply.Overnight parking is not allowed at OMSI.
What if I am just dropping o or picking up youth for an OMSI day or residential camp?
Payment is not required for the brief parking periods associated with OMSI camp drop o
