Eglin Fisher House
The Eglin Fisher House provides home like accommodations to family members while active duty, retirees and
veterans are undergoing care at a military medical treatment facility. The criterion for occupancy is that the
guest be either a member of the family or designated care giver of the patient hospitalized at these facilities
or a patient in an outpatient status.
Built in 2010, the nearly 11,000 square foot, 1-story Eglin Fisher House was donated to the Air Force by the
Fisher House Foundation, named after the late Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher. The Houses are designed to
assist in keeping families together while undergoing medical treatment.
