Resume
A resume is a document that summarizes work and educational experiences
and highlights an individualās skills and strengths. A resume may be shared
with organizations when seeking employment or volunteer or educational
opportunities. Once a resume is drafted, it should be updated and maintained
to reflect new experiences.
Create or Update a Resume
Find out if the youth has a resume that they want to update or if they will
need to create one.
ā Find sample resumes online and ask the youth what they like about
them.
ā Youth can model their resume after the examples you explored or they
can use resume templates provided by Google Drive or Word
Documents.

Encourage the youth to incorporate their new resume into their Personalized
Learning Plan (PLP) at school.
